I had completely forgot about this blog in the chaos of trying to get the ball rolling. I can hardly believe that the first kick was only a few weeks ago. As I write, we have over 100 kicks from a wide variety of people, and MOST importantly have already raised over £330 for charities. These donations are already safe in the hands of Football charity Field of Dreams/Football Aid and are awaiting the charity nominations from kickers. I hope to get 1000 kicks before I send out the first round of voting forms.
Kicks will remain sporadic for the first few months as the project is self funded and unfortunately my mortgage isn’t. However I hope to have some developments on this in the coming months and will keep everyone updated as soon as I know anything. Thanks to everyone who has given their support so far. This is only the beginning of the first season and I hope to get around to everyone who has shown an interest within the year. I would like to take this opportunity to offer my sincerest thanks to Ray Stubbs. ( I will get your scarf back to you ASAP)

Bidding to be the first ever kicker of the MOST KICKED BALL has begun. It seems the members of Everton FC’s football fansite forum chufffedtobeblue.com have taken it upon themselves to set the ball rolling. Many thanks Chuffers, There is still a week left of bidding. Plenty of time for other footy fans to rival ‘The People’s Club’s’ bids.
