MKB Kicks so far: 233 Funds raised: £489

Most Kicked Ball is an open invitation to the general public, businesses, celebrities and footballers alike, to show their appreciation of the ball, and help raise a load of cash for charities and community projects along the way.

How it works

It's quite simple.

  • You pay to kick the ball. How much you pay is up to you.
  • 100% of your donation goes to charity.
  • Charities are nominated by either organisers of a 'public kicking', or by individual kickers via an online vote.
  • All kicks are filmed. You could be a candidate for 'kick of the month', or you may be just be kicking the ball after a famous celebrity or footballer.
  • The website will feature regular news, video and updates. Be sure to follow the ball here at www.mostkickedball.org

You have only one kick. Anyone attempting more than one kick will be red carded and removed from the MKB roll call.

THE MKB Charity Season

The first charity qualification season runs for 100,000 kicks or 12 months (whichever comes first).

Public Kickings

Companies, businesses and charities are invited to stage 'public kicking' events. They nominate their specific chosen charity. The charity is then entered into the MKB league, with a point per kick tally taken from the event. The more kickers you can organise, the more chance you have of finishing in an award winning MKB league position.

Individual kickers or small groups

Individual kickers will be offered an online charity vote. Voting forms will be issued via email by MKB in the latter part of the season. (This will prevent wasted votes for charities that are unlikely to finish in the top 4)

Your chosen charity must fall into one of the 10 categories below:

# Category
1 Medical Research
2 Sport in the Community
3 Children & Youth
4 Environment
5 Aged
6 Disabled
7 Animal
8 Housing
9 Voluntary
10 Education

At the end of the season the top four placed charities will be awarded 70% of the total funds.

Position Award
1st Place 25%
2nd Place 20%
3rd Place 15%
4th Place 10%

The remaining 30% will be awarded to charities chosen by MKB stakeholders. All decisions made by MKB and stakeholders are final.

MKB is not a charity itself, but a conduit to raising funds for charities and community projects. Established grant making charity Field of Dreams will administer all the incoming donations and provide the required transparent charitable governed element post events.
